The only end-to-end solutions for commercial EVs, including vehicle supply, servicing, charging, and fleet management
Ford F-150 Lightning

Built to withstand the toughest conditions in Australia with safety in mind. Ready to hit the worksite today.
Why the Lightning?
“Implementation of EV utes is … an evolution of the way we think at MPC … it was a no brainer … taking diesel vehicles off the road … reduces our carbon emissions immediately.”

“Airside Safety Vehicles play a critical role in keeping 22 million passengers safe every year … It’s the first vehicle I’ve had that’s ticked all the boxes.”
“With significantly lower running and maintenance costs than our existing Ford Ranger fleet, the new EV utes come equipped with Vehicle-to-Grid capabilities, allowing us to replace traditional generators used to power tools or provide temporary support to vulnerable customers during outages.”

“With its spacious and comfortable cabin, combined with the quiet and smooth ride, our team prefer to drive the Lightnings. For our business the Total Cost of Ownership (especially when charged with solar) and reduced carbon emissions make financial and environmental sense.”

“These new vehicles not only enhance our capabilities but also position Linkforce as one of the pioneers in introducing fully electric mine-spec utes in the Pilbara region. Join us in celebrating this milestone as we drive towards a more sustainable future.”

“Marathon Group owns one of these vehicles and are very impressed with its capability. The AUSEV team are amazing to deal with and we see a further roll out with these impressive vehicles.”

Safety
Safety is a key priority for our customers, which is why we’ve emphasised rigorous testing and the integration of advanced safety technologies.

We’ve conducted a full risk assessment of the F-150 Lightning and developed a comprehensive safety dossier. This includes detailed information such as pre-start guides, safety management systems, and other critical safety protocols—all available upon request.

The F-150 Lightning has undergone extensive testing at the Lang Lang Proving Grounds and Lakeside Raceway to ensure its readiness for Australia’s roads. This rigorous process evaluated key systems, including suspension, braking, steering, airbags, and handling, to deliver optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

The Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SOCI) was introduced to safeguard critical infrastructure projects against cyber threats. As connected vehicles and EVs become increasingly advanced, we’ve prioritised cybersecurity by ensuring a safer vehicle environment.

In-Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) play a vital role in enhancing both fleet management and driver safety. Since customer safety is at the core of our mission, we collaborate with fleet operators to deliver cutting-edge software solutions, including driver fatigue management systems and other essential safety tools.
AUSEV is a solutions-focused provider, working with organisations to seamlessly transition their fleets to electric vehicles.

Safeguard Mechanism
Australia’s 233 safeguard facilities—each emitting over 100,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually—must cut emissions by 43% by 2030. Electric vehicles like the F-150 Lightning are key to driving this transition.

Mandatory Climate Reporting
With climate reporting now mandatory, the urgency to decarbonise fleets has never been greater. AUSEV provides tailored reports and data insights to help companies reduce emissions and meet compliance with confidence.

New Vehicle Efficiency Standard
The New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES) aims to accelerate EV adoption in Australia by rewarding vehicles that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and penalising those that do not. By incentivising EV uptake, the NVES helps expand the range of electric vehicles available for import into the country.
